What do you learn?

During the 8 meetings of 2.5 hours you will learn to apply the basic principles of mindfulness. You are taking this training because you want to practice integrating mindfulness into your daily life. You build up a rhythm. Together we will go on a physical, mental and emotional journey of discovery and receive practical tips and opportunities to continue practicing Mindfulness after the training. At home and/or in a group at our colleague studio in the heart of Leiden. You start at the basics and begin with a personal and non-binding intake interview with Guido, your mindfulness trainer who will guide you in your own process.

At a waterfall I met a Sadhu (Hindu Ascetic). In a simple mountain cabin and sleeping on a jute sack at night, he initiated me into the philosophy of Yoga. Both mentally and physically. He taught me ‘you are not your thoughts’.

Individual training or as a duo

It is also possible to follow the 8-week (MBSR) Mindfulness Training individually or as a duo. We can then tailor the schedule of the 8 training sessions to your personal agenda. In addition, we can pay in-depth attention to personal issues.

In the introductory workshop you can already experience what mindfulness is and what it can mean for you and whether the training fits your wishes and needs. But of course you can also just discover Mindfulness 😉

Reimbursement by health insurer

Guido is a certified Mindfulness Trainer (Category 1), affiliated with the VMBN under registration number 2017990 and the quality register for mindfulness trainers under registration number 200449. This means that, depending on your health insurer and your supplementary insurance, it is possible to declare (part of) the training. Depending on your insurance, this can amount to € 350. An overview of the reimbursement from various health insurers (or via employer, occupational health and safety services, UWV, municipality & labor integration) can be found via this link.

Indien gewenst kan het cursusgeld in 2 of meer termijnen betaald worden. Heb je een klein inkomen, dan kan er altijd een gesprek plaatsvinden over de mogelijkheden van reductie en/of uitwisseling.
