What app does Liv use and where can I find it?

Liv Yoga uses the Bsport app for you to book and cancel classes and workshops. You can find the app here.

I am new to Liv, how can I book a trial lesson?

Go to Prices and click the button “Take two trial lessons”, create an account in the Bsport app or on the Bsport website to buy your card and don’t forget to reserve your studio or online class.

 
I'm new to yoga, which classes are suitable?
If you are looking for an active class, then Hatha or Gentle Flow is nice to follow your first time, because the pace of the class is a bit slower and there is more time for explanation. If you are looking for relaxation, a Yin, Restorative or Sunday Zen special is a great class to get acquainted with yoga. Check our schedule page or contact us for personal advice.
 
What do I bring to class?
Put on comfortable (yoga) clothes, bring warm socks for the final relaxation and feel welcome! We take care of the rest, mats, pillows, bolsters, blankets, etc.
 
Are lessons taught in Dutch or English?
Both are possible! Usually the lessons are taught in Dutch, but for non-Dutch members it is easy for the teacher to switch and the lesson is given in English.
Where do I find the studio?
You can find the accessibility of the studio here.

And for evening classes, we work with the “Samen uit, samen thuis” principle. If you are by bike, you can coordinate with each other after class whether you want to bike home together towards Leiden or Oegstgeest. The bicycle path on the Groene Maredijk is well lit and the best way to and from the studio when it gets dark.

Lesson cards and booking classes

What memberships and lesson cards are available?

Please check the Prices page. We offer various lesson cards (5, 10 or 20 lessons) and memberships (4x, 8x per month or unlimited). We also offer the option to take a single lesson, with an advantage for members, if you want to take an extra lesson when your membership has run out of lessons. Mind you! The lesson cards have different durations.

 
How do I book an online or studio lesson?

You can book a lesson by logging in with your account in the Bsport app or on the Bsport website. For the online class, you will receive the Zoom link to the online class shortly before the class starts. Check the instruction video for the Bsport app here.

 
How can I change or cancel an online or studio class?

You can cancel a lesson up to 4 hours in advance while retaining your credit in the Bsport app or on the Bsport website. You can immediately book a new class if you like. Check the instruction video for the Bsport app here.

 
I accidentally booked an online class, but want to come to the studio (or vice versa), how do I change this?
You can cancel a lesson up to 4 hours in advance while retaining your credit in the Bsport app or on the Bsport website. You can then book the correct lesson again, studio or online. For the online class, you will receive the zoom link to the online class shortly before the class starts. If you notice this later than 4 hours in advance you will lose a credit. Send us an email and we can rectify this after class. Check the instruction video for the Bsport app here
 
When I'm on the waiting list, how do I know if a spot has become available in class?
If you have push notifications enabled in the Bsport app, you will receive a notification when a spot becomes available in class, otherwise you will receive an email. If you have received a message or email, you can book the lesson in the way you are used to in the Bsport app or on the Bsport website.
 
I want to sign up for a lesson and the Bsport app or website does not work?
If the class is not full, come to the studio. Let the teacher know, then the teacher can register you or we will sort it out after the class. Feel welcome to join!
 
I have a lesson card, but I cannot reserve a class. How is this possible?
The lesson cards have different durations. Check our Prices page. It is possible that the validity of your card has expired, even though you still have credits left. If there is a valid reason for not being able to finish the lessons on your card, for example due to illness, injury, etc., please send us an email.

I am interested in mindfulness, where do I find more info?

Although it excites us that you are interested in mindfulness, we offer our coursework in Dutch and have some great people who we can refer you to for mindfulness sessions in English. Check out our mindfulness page for their info.
