After the evening classes, we assess who has to go home in the same direction, so we can walk/cycle together out of the park. The Groene Maredijk is well lit and the best way to and from the studio when it is dark.

A beautiful balance between exertion and relaxation. After strength, endurance and movement (Yang), give your body and mind peace and quiet (Yin).

Yin & Sound

Slowing down, softness and gentleness for yourself. You’ll stay in a pose longer, which allow you to turn inward. A combination of mental relaxation while strengthening and loosening up your joints and conective tissue.

In our Yin & Sound classes the teacher creates a special sound bath using sound bowls and other gentle instruments. In case of a substitute teacher we cannot always promise the Sound bath.

Breath & Restore

Breathe and Restore Yoga is a special class that starts with breathing. This sounds simple, we breathe 24/7, but breathing with awareness and breathing exercises can help our body renew, restore and relax.
After this breath work we will move into deep relaxation in Restorative Yoga.

Restorative Yoga helps you to gently find your way into yourself and connect to the stillness that is there. Inside all of us is the stillness we need to create a healthy balance between action (Yang) and relaxing (Yin).
In Restorative Yoga we use a lot of props like blankets and pillows, so our whole body can relax in this class. Because Restorative Yoga aims for full body relaxation, this type of Yoga is suitable for everybody.
